Frequently Asked Questions

What is occupational therapy?

Occupational therapy can help you achieve the activities and goals that are important to you. Occupations are any meaningful activities you use to occupy your time. This includes anything from getting dressed, to participating in your hobbies or work activities. Sometimes poor health can get in the way of us achieving the things we would like to. This is where occupational therapy comes in. Your therapist will be able to assess the difficulties you are having with your activities, then provide recommendations and solutions to overcome or remove these barriers.

Do you cover my area?

Services are available to clients across the UK. Home/Site visit services are available across Fife and surrounding areas. Travel costs apply out with Fife.

How does video consultation work?

Video consultations are delivered via a secure platform. You will require a stable internet connection and a device with audio and video capabilities. Your therapist is experienced in video and telephone consultations. They will be able to ask the correct questions to gather all the relevant information to complete your assessment and treatment sessions. Some treatments are not achievable via remote consultation and this will be discussed prior to or during your consultation.

What are your fees?

Please see our pricing list for clear and transparent costs of our services. If you have particularly complex needs or require support out with our standard services this may require an additional fee but this will always be discussed prior to any work being undertaken. Prices will be outlined in a client agreement form prior to services commencing.
